The Outsiders      In the book the Outsider by S.E. Hinton Ponyboy is the primary character, in the book he is for the most part alluded to as Pony. Horse has two siblings, Sodapop and Darry. Horse is fourteen and doesn’t have any parent’s, they kicked the bucket in an auto crash. Horse and Soda and Darry all live in a similar house, with Darry and Soda supporting them. He has long dark oily hair, he has hair like that in light of the fact that the majority of the individuals do in the pack their piece of the â€Å"Greasers†, and it most likely fit with the timeframe, the fifties. Pony’s closest companion Johnny who is likewise one of the guys; theâ€Å"Greasers† that incorporates the majority of the children that live around their piece of town including Soda and Darry. Horse being a piece of the Greasers despises the Socs, short for socials; at the outset the socs beat Pony for reasons unknown since he didn’t dress like them or have cash like t hem. The Socs are fundamentally rich children that dress pleasantly and beat the Greasers up. So far everybody likes Pony with the exception of the Socs. Horse is not normal for the various Greasers since he gets a kick out of the chance to watch films and read books and take a gander at the stars around evening time. Different Greasers don’t give him trouble about it some of the time they’ll even head out to motion pictures with him and take a gander at the stars with him. Towards the finish of part two Johnny, Pony, and Dally, (another of the folks in the Greasers), met Cherry and Marcia. They were two lady friends of some Socs that they met at the drive in cinema. Toward the finish of part three Johnny, Pony, and the young ladies were strolling home when their beaus pulled up and began issue with Pony and Johnny. Johnny got beat up downright awful by the equivalent folks previously so he wasn’t going to take any risks so he pulled out his switch cutting edge and Soda had a messed up bottle, yet nothing occurred aside from the young ladies went with the Socs so there wouldn’t be any difficulty.
